What DAWs do you use?

I am comfortable working in most major DAWs (Pro Tools, Logic, Ableton Live, Cubase, etc)

What genres do you work in?

I have worked in rock, folk, house, techno, hip hop, R&B and more. I believe thinking too much about genre while in the studio can be restrictive to creativity. Let's let the critics decide about genre later.

What instruments do you play?

I play guitar, bass, banjo, piano, organ, saxophone, synthesizer, and drum machine. I'm equally comfortable programming beats on an MPC as I am chopping up samples in Ableton. I also sing and can provide harmony arrangements and backup vocals.

Are you available to work in person?

Yes! I have a private home studio in Los Angeles that is equipped for both recording and mixing. I'm also willing to travel for the right project. Email me and let's discuss.

What do I need to bring into the studio?

You can bring in anything from a fully-sketched out demo to nothing but a melody idea recorded on your phone. I'm equally comfortable working on a song from scratch as I am going in to your already-started session and replacing what is needed. Part of being a producer is deciding what is good enough and what isn't.

What does "artist-friendly rates" mean?

It means that there's a lot of flexibility. Don't have the biggest budget to work with but still want your music to shine? Email me and let's chat, I'm sure there's some way I can help you bring the best out of your music.

Are you familiar with using AutoTune?

Yes, I have the full AutoTune Suite of plugins and I'm very familiar with using AutoTune, whether it's in a deliberate or subtle way. I also have Celemony Melodyne for a more transparent approach to tuning vocals.

When and how is payment due?

I accept payment over either Paypal or Venmo. 50% of payment is due before work is started, with the remainder balance due before the final files are delivered.
